Founder

Driven by a deep belief in the power of design to shape cultural identity, Aniket’s journey began through years of contributing to decorative lighting and urban beautification projects across public spaces in India.

Recognizing the vast potential of India’s artistic heritage within contemporary design, he founded Rookhouse with a clear vision — to translate traditional craftsmanship, materials, and cultural narratives into modern lighting and objects for today’s world. Through Rookhouse, Aniket seeks to build a global platform where Indian culture is thoughtfully reinterpreted and made relevant for future generations.

An engineer by profession with over a decade of experience, his journey began in a world defined by precision and structure. Yet beyond engineering, his heart was always drawn to the timeless soul of Indian art and culture.

What began as admiration gradually evolved into a personal calling a desire to create, preserve, and express the essence of our heritage through design. He believes true creation carries meaning, emotion, and identity where tradition inspires form, and passion gives it life.
